| The actual age of most trunks is anyone's guess but some of the
hardware
on this trunk has a patent date stamp of 1880. This Saratoga style trunk was originally covered in leather. The lock still works and comes with a new key. |

| All original hardware in beautiful condition |
| It is by far the tallest trunk I have ever had the pleasure of working on, twenty nine (29") inches at the highest point. Custom made leather handles made extra thick to handle the weight of this trunk when it is filled with your cash and treasures. |

| You don't find trunks like this everyday. This is only my second
since 1993
|
| Probably no one but myself would want to see the underside of a trunk but I still think it deserves the same attention to detail as the rest of the trunk. The nylon "feet" are standard on all my trunks. They allow the trunk to glide over most surfaces without scratches or snags. You'll appreciate these the most when pulling it away from the wall to open it. |
