| Embossed tin came in all sorts of patterns but the most interesting is by far the alligator skin. I was able to match the original color almost perfect and with all it's original hardware intact, this trunk now looks like it would have looked in the 1880s. |

| The oak slats were striped and refinished to perfection. To maintain the beauty of this trunk for many many years, all it needs is a little wax polish once a year on the wood and metal. |
